Going to university is a major step in a young person’s life. Our goal is to support all of our students as they prepare to transition from school to university and the opportunities that lie beyond. Throughout their final year, students attend weekly talks with professionals from a wide range of disciplines and fields, helping them explore different career paths and make informed decisions about their future.
In addition, our career guidance counselor holds individual sessions with Grade 12 students to support them with university entrance exams, interviews, and applications to the institutions and programmes they are interested in. Students also participate in university fairs and career-interest assessments.
We are proud that most Olinca graduates go on to study at universities in Mexico or abroad. Our guidance programme also helps connect them with scholarships, career-exploration opportunities, and gap-year programmes, enabling them to gain greater clarity about their interests and aspirations and make informed decisions before beginning university.
